Princeton Digital Group raises $500 million in funding


Singapore-based company Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has closed a $350 million equity fund led by Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala).

Two of PDG's shareholders, Warburg Pincus and the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board (Ontario Teachers'), also invested in the round, with a total investment of more than half a billion dollars.

The funding strengthens PDG's position as a leading pan-Asian data center operator by strengthening its presence in Japan, India, Singapore, China and Indonesia and accelerating its expansion plans into other markets.
